Breakthrough to Nursing Scholarship

The Breakthrough to Nursing Scholarship has been extended to include two $500 scholarships.  The Nursing Advocacy and Recruitment Scholarship will be awarded to any nursing student in the state of Iowa who has demonstrated vigilance in the promotion of the nursing image and in the areas of nursing recruitment.  The Diversity in Nursing Scholarship will be awarded to any Iowa nursing student showing considerable involvement in activities aimed at promoting diversity of nationality, age, race, and sex in nursing.  

 These scholarships will be awarded at the IANS conference in October of 2008.

The scholarship applications will be made available in August of 2008, on the IANS website, www.iowanursingstudents.org .

Just a tip: to make it easier for others to view your information, include a label describing what you are contributing.

Labels to use are:
Advocacy - for contributions regarding nursing image
Recruitment - for BTN projects
Other- for all other contributions.
